Kosmidis and Iliadis, excellent colleagues from the HYGEIA Group, organized the 9th Thoracic Oncology Symposium in Tinos. And we were there—simple and unpretentious, like the Cycladic colors—to add the touch of Interventional Pulmonology, a field that is rapidly evolving and transforming everyday clinical practice.
In an environment that combined scientific quality with Cycladic serenity, new techniques were presented, challenges were discussed, and directions for the future were shaped. From advanced diagnostic methods to targeted interventions that reduce the need for major surgical procedures, Interventional Pulmonology once again demonstrated its increasingly decisive role in modern oncological management.
But more than the knowledge, what remained was the sense of collaboration: a team of people with a shared vision to offer better, more compassionate, and more effective care to patients. On an island where simplicity meets inspiration, we were reminded once again why we love what we do.
