NEUROMUSCULAR DISEASES

Neuromuscular diseases are a series of heterogeneous diseases such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and many myopathies, which, despite the totally different disease base, they largely have the same result in the thoracic cavity. These conditions, in addition to the difficulty they cause to the patient's walking, lead to the formation of spinal deformities, which are sometimes very serious. These deformations "trap" the lungs into the chest, resulting in restrictive pulmonary disease.
